E-3 visa FAQ

Common E-3 questions and answers

Do I need a lawyer for the E-3?

Not always. The E-3 Eligibility Consultation is a paid one-hour legal consultation where we assess your facts. It does not commit either side to the application.

Is the consultation fee a retainer?

No. It is a flat fee of A$300 for a defined one-hour consultation. It is not held against future work, and it does not include the application.

What if I need to cancel the consultation?

You may cancel or reschedule without charge up to 24 hours before the appointment. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment, and missed appointments, are not eligible for a refund, except where otherwise agreed.

Can I apply with a 3-year Australian degree?

Often yes, with credentials evaluation and/or work experience arguments.

Can my non-Australian spouse come with me?

Yes. E-3D dependants do not need Australian citizenship and spouses can work.
