1. Scope of consultation
This booking is for a one-hour legal consultation concerning your potential E-3 visa matter. The consultation may include discussion of your qualifications, proposed U.S. position and employer, specialty occupation requirements, eligibility considerations, the E-3 application process, and potential issues or next steps.
The consultation is limited to the time and services described above. It does not include preparation or filing of an E-3 application, preparation or review of application documents, drafting employer support letters, communication with your employer or government agencies, or ongoing legal representation.
2. No ongoing representation
This is a standalone consultation. Booking a consultation does not create an agreement for ongoing legal representation or require you to retain the lawyer for any further services. Any further legal services will be subject to a separate written agreement.
3. Information provided
Any advice provided during the consultation will be based on the information and documents you provide. You are responsible for providing complete and accurate information. If material information is omitted or circumstances change, the advice provided during the consultation may no longer apply.
4. No guarantee of outcome
No representation is made that you will qualify for an E-3 visa or that an E-3 application will be approved. Immigration decisions are made by the relevant U.S. government authorities, and the outcome of an individual case cannot be guaranteed.
5. Confidentiality
Information you provide for the purpose of obtaining legal advice will be treated in accordance with applicable attorney confidentiality obligations. You should avoid sending highly sensitive personal information or original documents unless specifically requested.
6. Consultation fee
The consultation fee is A$300, payable at the time of booking. The fee covers the one-hour consultation and the legal services described in these terms. It does not include any subsequent legal services.
7. Cancellation and rescheduling
You may cancel or reschedule your consultation without charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment and missed appointments are not eligible for a refund, except where otherwise agreed.
8. No attorney-client relationship beyond the consultation
The consultation establishes a limited lawyer-client relationship for the purpose of providing the consultation and advice described above. It does not establish an ongoing attorney-client relationship or an agreement to provide any other legal services.
9. Acknowledgment
By booking this consultation, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms and understand the scope and limitations of the consultation.
